The course aims to help students develop an engineering vision and establish engineering thinking. They will be able to apply their academic knowledge effectively and efficiently in practical situations, understanding the environment as a component of an engineering system. Graduates will gain an advantage in problem-solving and innovation skills, enabling them to succeed in their engineering careers. The course equips students with the ability to apply general principles of problem-solving and innovation to their practical work. They will learn to use creative thinking tools, perform functional analysis of engineering systems, propose physical models, understand and describe failure mechanisms, and propose effective process development methods. The course also introduces the use of innovation platform and problem-solving software tools.
